Yesterday’s Waltz tells the tale of a relationship that danced through disaster, and was inspired by what Jol describes as “a series of sad stories”.
It’s not exactly auto-biographical – but as a songwriter you learn to dig into your own experiences as well as seeing and imagining what’s happening around you.
Yesterday’s Waltz is the first track to be release from my forthcoming – and as yet unnamed – album.
